NEW YEAR HOLIDAYAlmost everyone in the United States celebrates New Year's Eve as a holiday that brings in the new year. As the stroke of midnight travels from the East to West coast, on New Year's Eve, friends and family join together to remember the past year, and to celebrate and look forward to a new year. It is said that "New Year's Eve is the holiday that celebrates future holidays!"
Art used to celebrate New Year's Eve typically has a winter theme and a bright cheerful outlook. Any holiday party that uses artistic themes will be more enjoyable and memorable. New Year's celebrations are no exception and benefit greatly from the use of art and crafts. Other ideas include a small automatic slide show of your year's photographs, commemorative hats, and brightly colored ribbons suspended across the ceiling.
